Sketches

I'm not sure a day goes by without me needing to sketch something out for a give project — one of my own or a project for which I'm helping someone else. Sketches are the quickest and easiest way to transfer an idea in my head to some visible for others to see. Sometimes its on a post-it note, or my scratch pad, or a whiteboard. That's the beauty of sketches — you can scribble something down anywhere in the lowest fidelity possible and still communicate an idea.

A couple of caveats about sketches:

I don't always sketch the same types of things for each project.
I don't always keep every sketch for each project.
My sketches are a mess - I'm a designer, not an artist. :)
